Bamboo Vase

Glazed ceramic vase, slab-construction.
The sculptural element—which in this case reproduces a cluster of bamboo stalks—is removable and stands as a piece in its own right.
Entirely handmade and hand-modeled; uniqueness is further defined by the coloring, featuring ever-changing shades, layering effects, and glaze drips.

Sculptural vases in stoneware and majolica that incorporate fragments inspired by nature—mimicking wood, antlers, shoots, bamboo, and more.
These elements can either inhabit the vase or break free from it, transforming into standalone sculptures.
In these new works by Claudia and Martino, the boundary between vessel and artwork dissolves, giving way to constantly evolving, entirely handmade compositions.
