"Human life takes place between chaos and order, reality and imagination, fear and faith. This constitutive ambivalence makes life so diverse. But what is chaos and order? What is utopia and what is dystopia? And what about hell and paradise? There is no universal concept for any of these subjects. And that is what characterizes human beings: different perceptions!
My jewelry is a medium of communication – utopian landscapes as a retreat of a noisy, chaotic, digital world. I create compositions of wood, moss and gemstones, which represents the fertility of earth and the preciousness of nature. The results are surrealistic dreamy places which resemble a parallel world and spark a retreat of digital life while observing – a moment of aesthetic experience.
Through the application to the body and the resulting mobility, a journey begins for the piece and the wearer, which consists of carrying feelings into the world, creating space for interpretation, quietly thinking or concretely communicating.
