Sculptural vessels in stoneware, porcelain, and majolica that incorporate fragments drawn from nature—mimicking wood, antlers, shoots, bamboo, and more.
These elements may inhabit the vessel or break free from it, transforming into standalone sculptures.
In Claudia and Martino’s new works, the boundary between container and artwork dissolves, giving way to ever-changing, entirely handmade compositions.

Amaaro! is a workshop dedicated to the design and creation of ceramic objects, established in 2011 through the collaboration of Claudia—a painter—and Martino—an architect. The dialogue between their distinct creative languages ​​has sparked a constantly evolving hub of ideas, drawing inspiration from tradition and the diverse idioms of visual communication.
Ideas progress from initial modeling to plaster molds, and then to the composition and crafting of the clay pieces, which are subsequently fired and glazed.
Their non-academic backgrounds and instinctive approach to the ceramic medium allow for a free engagement with tradition, translating into boundless creative potential.
The collections are conceived as thematic groups of objects that serve as the focus for ongoing research and exploration; they are produced as limited editions, each individually numbered and cataloged.
These objects are crafted entirely by hand in a workshop housed within a converted farmhouse in the countryside near Reggio Emilia.
