Pantoù ceramics

Contemporary ceramics made with traditional techniques. Each piece is unique and unrepeatable.

Pantoù ceramics is a brand founded in 2020 in Faenza by two passionate Sicilian ceramists: Ilaria Biffara and Giampaolo Santoddì.
The idea of creating a new company was born in 2015 in Caltagirone—a renowned center of Sicilian ceramic art—where the two young people were born and raised in close contact with local workshops. Play, research, experimentation, and the desire to express tradition through new shapes and colors drove the duo to embark on this journey, constantly updating their skills through collaborations with artists and other artisans.

Creativity presents the collections:
Radici
This collection is a personal and contemporary reinterpretation of the Albarello, one of the most iconic vases in the Italian ceramic tradition. Also known as the Pharmacy Vase, it was used to store medicinal herbs.
Shaped on the wheel and coated with dotted glazes. The measurements are always different.

Crisalide
A collection of ceramic vases, shaped on a wheel and glazed with an airbrush. The series boasts sinuous silhouettes inspired by chrysalises in the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly. Crisalide is a combination of traditional techniques and contemporary taste. The vases come in nine shapes and six color variations: yellow, red, blue, purple, white, and black.

Cielo
A collection of ceramic plates and bowls, shaped on a wheel and painted by hand, for the wall or table. Each piece is a symbolic window that allows a view of blue skies populated by luminous clouds. A perfect decoration to add a touch of light to any space. The colors that characterize the collection are the result of meticulous research into color and texture.
