A painter based in Turin, Raffaella Brusaglino has long pursued an artistic practice that moves between painting, materials and installation, exploring techniques and visual languages that often take her work beyond the surface of the canvas.

With Gesti Bianchi, her new series inspired by the world of tennis, she takes us back to the elegance of the tennis courts of the 1920s and 1930s, a period when the game was evolving through increasingly refined techniques and styles, with spin shots and ever more sophisticated athletic gestures.

Each work captures a gesture, a stance, a particular spin imparted to the ball, freezing a moment of play on the canvas.

Yet the movement does not end with the painting: rackets and tennis balls extend beyond the canvas, becoming three-dimensional, movable elements that carry the gesture into space, creating a surprising dialogue between image and reality.

Small jewels for the wall, poised between painting and sculpture, where movement becomes part of the artwork and the game continues beyond the canvas.

Unique pieces, painting on wooden panel, acrylic pigments, plastic, and music wire.

A painter based in Turin, Raffaella Brusaglino has long pursued an artistic practice that moves between painting, materials and installation, exploring techniques and visual languages that often take her work beyond the surface of the canvas.
