Vase SŌ Cylinder

Sō means “layer” in Japanese.
The project, made of double corrugated cardboard, plays with the material’s overlapping, volume, and shape.
Cardboard is a humble material, used to package and protect other objects; this project makes it the protagonist.
The material’s characteristics are expressed in all their potential.
The cardboard is assembled by hand, glued, and treated.

The cylindrical vases are available in three different heights and can be customized with a set of colored discs.
