Small sculptures made entirely by hand: nylon thread is transformed into lightweight yet surprisingly durable structures, each one unique.
Over time, Floor has developed and refined a highly precise technical language, which involves melting, braiding, and flattening the thread through heat. This creates subtle, intricate textures, allowing her to create translucent and vibrant jewelry, capable of moving between two and three dimensions.
In the “Reverpin” brooches, the nylon is colored, the light changes and lights up, refracts, adding an unexpected brilliance to the piece.
