A rabbit-woman, a snail-woman, a fish-woman.
Three figures suspended between human and animal nature—the protagonists of *Le Metamorfosi* (The Metamorphoses), a new series of ceramic sculptures by Enrica Campi.
Having trained in set design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, Enrica Campi has always infused her work with the language of theater, fairy tales, and imagination. Her female figures—often enigmatic and imbued with a subtle irony—inhabit a world where reality coexists with the fantastical. They are figures caught between human and animal nature, leaving it ambiguous as to who is transforming into whom.
This transformation is not depicted as a sudden event, but rather as a fundamental condition of existence. Nothing remains permanently the same: forms, identities, and ways of being shift, influence one another, and discover new balances.
Through *Le Metamorfosi*, Enrica Campi gives shape to this state of constant becoming, while preserving the theatrical and poetic quality that makes her work instantly recognizable.
