The Latin expression “lupus in fabula” is used to refer to someone who appears just as you were talking about him (almost like you speak of the devil and the horns appear).
The origin of this phrase dates back to the fables of Fedro and Esopo, where the wolf was often a feared and dangerous figure that suddenly appeared. In this sense, the arrival of the wolf interrupted the narrative or represented an unexpected and inevitable event.
