Over 10 years of folds and a passionate search for origami have led me towards a creative path by subtraction; passing from figurative subjects, to the abstract, up to neglecting the technique to get to the essence of the material: paper.
Sō in Japanese means ‘layer’, the new creations play with the overlap, volume and shape of the paper. Hand painted with gold and copper pigments, the artifacts are designed to be worn in different ways. The intent is to interact with the jewel while maintaining a clean and minimal aesthetic line.
