The Bremen Town Musicians is a European folk tale by the Brothers Grimm and first published in the book Grandmother’s Tales from 1819. The story tells of four animals, a donkey, a dog, a cat and a rooster, who experience difficult situations on their respective farms. They then decide to flee to the city of Bremen to start a new life. Massimo Voghera represents with his decorated ceramic sculpture the fairy tale that emphasizes the value of friendship, courage and collaboration, the four animals, different from each other, manage to overcome their difficulties by collaborating together.
