Behind the AQTO brand lies the eclectic figure of Piero Acuto, musician, composer, graphic designer and designer or, in the words of Brian Eno, an oblique strategist of expression: Piero is an artist who manages to use almost subliminally worlds and elements that are only apparently unapproachable. This stylistic figure is re-proposed with the AQTO collection: a series of rings, bracelets, necklaces and key rings created even before the hands by a careful look at the transformative potential of everyday objects. A manual art not of recycling, but of recovery (Piero uses pliers, saws, files, mini-drills and, sometimes, tools invented and built specifically for a particular process); therefore a strictly artisanal path that ends its metamorphosis of the material in rigorously unique pieces.
