Yumi Kato is a Japanese designer based in Barcelona.
Born and raised in Tokyo,
NufDesign creates textile jewelry by upcycling original Japanese kimonos, known worldwide for their high-quality workmanship and original design.
After carefully selecting the material, she transforms it into wearable works of art that perfectly complement Western fashion.
Nuf means “to sew” in ancient Japanese script.
All pieces are handmade in limited editions.
