Inspired by Kintsugi – a Japanese technique that consists of giving new life to broken ceramic objects – Aqto intervenes on vases made by Pastore and Bovina – from the Naturalia series – transforming the fractures into supports for his insect pins, sculpture jewels made entirely by hand by assembling, without welding, commonly used aluminum objects.

Aluminum insect, length 15 cm, width 9 cm, h 8 cm approximately
the legs are mobile and each leg ends with a tip, this makes the Pin easily wearable.

Zolla stoneware vase, 20 x 20 cm, h 19 cm in total.
