This silver brooch is a piece of wearable architecture with a distinct post-industrial design.
Its three-dimensional, rectangular structure unfolds like a miniature industrial diorama, alternating between light-toned, textured surfaces and deep, burnished dark areas—where controlled oxidation serves as a primary expressive element.
The surface—deliberately scratched, perforated, and layered with rich, tactile patinas and accents of molten gold—encloses small, geometric internal volumes and arches that play with voids and varying thicknesses, transforming this masterfully crafted piece into an avant-garde, conceptual sculpture.
