“White Gestures” (*Gesti Bianchi*), the new series by Raffaella Brusaglino inspired by the world of tennis, transports us back to the elegance of the courts in the 1920s and 1930s—an era when tennis evolved through new technical and stylistic interpretations, characterized by creative shots and increasingly sophisticated athletic movements.
Each piece captures a specific gesture, a stance, or the spin applied to the ball, freezing a moment of play upon the canvas.
These works are like small wall-mounted jewels, striking a balance between painting and sculpture; here, movement becomes an integral part of the piece, and the game continues beyond the confines of the canvas.
Unique pieces; painting on wooden panel, using acrylic pigments, plastic, and spring steel wire.
Panel dimensions: 33 x 33 cm
