Unique piece made for the BABOJA exhibition
Inspired by Kintsugi – a Japanese technique that consists in giving new life to broken ceramic objects – Aqto intervenes on vases made by Shepherd and Bovina – from the Naturalia series – they transform the fractures into support of the Baboje, sculptural jewels made entirely by hand by assembling , without welding commonly used aluminum objects.
Baboja in aluminum, length 15 cm, width 9 cm, h 8 cm approximately
the legs are movable and each paw ends with a point, this makes the Baboja easy to wear as a brooch
Zolla vase in stoneware, 20 x 20 cm, h 19 cm in total
