“The Flautist” sculpture

With a background in the worlds of music and theater, Massimo Voghera infuses his sculptures with a love for storytelling, expressed through his own unique sensibility.
“The Flautist” (Il Flautista) appears to have stepped right out of a theatrical performance: his gaze is absorbed, his lips pursed against the flute, and his hands poised in the act of playing. It is a figure defined by expressive gestures—a piece where the ceramic comes to life, seemingly evoking a melody.

A small-scale sculpture that transforms a musical gesture into a narrative.

Sculpture crafted from semi-refractory clay, glazes, and mixed media.
Each piece is a unique, entirely handmade creation; therefore, no two are ever identical.
