“Sideros”: wearable sculptures made of raw iron and fire.
Pendant sculptures crafted entirely by hand from raw iron, protected with a thin layer of varnish that preserves their colors and shapes.
Each piece comes with a chain and magnet so it can be worn as a necklace or a brooch.
..“An immense carpet of brown algae, long festoons of fucus, snaked between rocks and submerged wrecks. Mysterious creatures, encrusted with coral and mother-of-pearl, emerged from the depths, silent witnesses of a forgotten time.”
It seems that the Siphonophores were fished out of the mysterious depths of Sideros, a project by Masiar Pasquali, from the seabed described by Jules Verne in “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea.” These jewels tell stories of the abyss and metamorphoses, where beauty lies in the roughness and elegance resides in the irregular shapes. Crafted entirely by hand from discarded materials, they are fragments of a submerged world, forged from raw iron and protected by a thin layer of varnish, like a treasure that defies time.
Unique pieces, born from the encounter between nature and ingenuity, between what has been forgotten and what shines again.
Sideros jewels fear water and perfumes, to maintain the integrity of the sculpture do not keep them in the shower or bath.
